FAA Repair Station Training Program Manual

The FAA Repair Station Training Program Manual (RSTP) is required by Part 145.163. This manual is separate from the Repair Station Manual. The RSTP manual should be designed to ensure each employee involved in maintenance is capable of performing their assigned tasks. This manual includes procedures for company and individual assessments, creating and maintaining training records and providing a training program designed to continuously improve personnel through a closed loop system. Support materials for the RSTP includes assessment tools, forms for training records, personnel records and training matrices. One size manual does not fit all companies. Size and complexity of company operations determine how a RSTP manual is built and maintained. Guidance for the development of the manual may be found in AC 145-10.
